Overview

RunBuggy is looking to hire an experienced Sales Engineer as it continues to exceed customers' expectations while experiencing industry-leading growth.

 

As a Sales Engineer, you will participate in technical related calls with our Sales team to demonstrate the features of RunBuggy’s products, gather requirements related to business processes and technical architecture, identify and evaluate possible solutions, draft and deliver presentations/project outlines, and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to implement the solutions.

 

To ensure success as a Sales Engineer, you should have in-depth knowledge of web-based (SaaS) solutions, high-level communications skills, and a readiness to make key contributions to the growth of a changing automotive transport company. You should have also extensive experience with up-to-date current web technologies and best practices. You should be considered a technical product guru who understands the product and the technology behind it.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying needs and matching with the correct solutions for the customer.
  • Implementing solutions to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Conducting product demos.
  • Supporting the sales team with all technical related queries.
  • Conducting client discovery calls with Sales Representatives.
  • Meeting with clients to discuss their needs.
  • Strategizing with the sales team to identify the correct implementations.
  • Drafting and delivering presentations on targeted products and solutions.
  • Testing the performance of the configured system and identifying bugs.
  • Providing post-implementation follow-ups.
  • Developing relationships and maintaining customer relations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
  •  Experience as a Sales Engineer or Product Solutions Engineer.
  • Some experience with web-based product design and development.
  • Comfortable speaking to large audiences with executives.
  • Experience with Restful APIs.
  • Experience with web widgets.
  • Experience with FTP and Email integrations.
  • Understanding of data reporting and enjoys pouring over data for insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex messages and adapt communication style to audiences.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to create big-picture software solutions.

  • Ability to present ideas in a clean, user-friendly way.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with the automotive industry is a plus.
